Sandy C.: My Story and a New Website!

After being diagnosed with breast cancer, I discovered the PINKS website and called them immediately. I came out to my first practice a couple weeks later. I live by the beach/bay and any chance to be out on the water is a happy day for me!

The sport has introduced me to a fantastic group of women who always rally around each other not only for the sport but breast cancer as well. The group really cares and strives to be strong, healthy, and happy. A true team. And the icing on the cake was working on our float for the Tournament of Roses parade. What a very special experience.
