The Los Angeles Pink Dragons engage in fundraising activities during the year to help offset the costs of boat rentals, insurance, racing fees, and qualified coaching, in order to ease the financial burden on individual paddlers.
Your first year’s membership, a paddle, a Personal Flotation Device (PFD), and required team apparel will cost approximately $200-$300.
Mother’s Beach charges parking fees every day, year-round from 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. Machines take debit/credit cards and cash. Fees are currently $1.00 per hour.
Team members pay for their own travel and hotel expenses for out-of-town races and events. The costs vary depending on the venues.
