We are approximately 50 BCS women on the Los Angeles Pink Dragons.
Prior to joining the team, most had never held a dragon boat paddle in their lives!
It may seem daunting as you tell yourself, “I don’t know how to paddle”, and wonder “can I do it?”. Yes you can!

WHY SHOULD I BECOME A DRAGON BOAT PADDLER ?
BCS dragon boat teams allow women to meet and socialize with other active women like themselves, who won’t let cancer stop them from enjoying life.

GIVE IT A TRY
The Los Angeles Pink Dragons allow survivors to train with us for up to 3 days on the water. We’ll teach you all that you need to know, and we’ll provide all gear needed. You’ll love being out on the water, and will be surprised by how quickly you pick it up. 

PRACTICE
Practices are scheduled every Wednesday and Saturday mornings at Mother’s Beach, in Long Beach, CA.
We paddle for one hour, practicing different drills to perfect our paddling.
