Long Beach Spring Festival
Date: Sunday, April 26th, 2026
Location: Long Beach, Mothers Beach
The Spring Long Beach Dragon Boat Festival at the end of April is the kickstart of the racing season for the LA Pinks and many other teams. The 1-day event is a miniature version of the Big Long Beach Festival, one of California’s largest dragon boat festivals at the end of July.
We race in mixed divisions in 20-men boats on 200-meter races.

Castaic Lake Dragon boat festival
Date: Saturday, May 30th
Location: Castaic Lake, CA
In the breathtaking backdrop of Castaic Lake, the LA Pinks will attend the 5th annual Castaic Lake Dragon Boat Festival! We expect a lot of thrills, spills, and celebrations.
We will race in the BCS division and the All-Cancer division, in 20-man boats with 10 paddlers in 250-meter races. But beyond the race, beyond the competition, we will enjoy an atmosphere of camaraderie, inclusivity, and pure, unadulterated fun.
Long Beach Dragon boat festival
Date: Saturday, July 25th
Location: Long Beach, Marine Stadium
The 2025 Long Beach Dragon Boat Festival will be held at Marine Stadium in Long Beach on July 26, from 9am to 6pm.
This is a home race for us, but also one of the largest dragon boat competitions in California. We are one of the Breast Cancer teams participating and we’ll also compete in the women’s division.
250 and 500-meter races.

IBCPC FRANCE 2026
Date: August 24th to 30th, 2026
Location: Aix-Les-Bains, France
Every 4 years, BCS paddlers from all around the world meet for an international festival, a non- competitive participatory event for breast cancer Dragon Boat teams.
The Pinks are really excited to join the International Festival in Aix-les-Bains in France, in 2026. We are 27 happy Pinks who can’t wait to go there!
SAN DIEGO INTERNATIONAL DRAGON BOAT RACE
Date: Sat- Sun, September 26-27th, 2025
Location: Mission Bay, San Diego, CA
Welcome all paddlers to the 15th Annual San Diego International Dragon Boat competition. The water is warm, wet, and waiting for your blade!
The Pink Dragons will compete in Breast Cancer Survivors division, in 20-man boats for 250 and 500-meter races.
LOS ANGELES COUNTY DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL
Date: TBD, October 2026
Location: Santa Fe Dam, Irwindale
The Los Angeles County Dragon Boat Team will be hosting the LA County Dragon Boat Festival this coming October, at the Santa Fe Dam recreation area.
It’s a recurring event for the LA Pink Dragons, who are usually competing in the Women and Community Divisions.
